Battery regulation

In relation to the sale or delivery of batteries, rechargeable batteries, watches, or other devices containing these items, we are required by the Battery Ordinance to provide you with the following information:

It's prohibited to dispose of batteries or rechargeable batteries with regular household waste. As the end user, it is your legal responsibility to properly return used batteries or rechargeable batteries.

You have the option to return used batteries or rechargeable batteries at no cost at the point of purchase or nearby locations, such as municipal collection points or participating stores. Additionally, you can send batteries back to us.

Batteries containing harmful substances are indicated by a symbol of a crossed-out trash bin. The chemical name of the pollutant (Cd for cadmium, Pb for lead, and Hg for mercury) is located near this symbol.
